ESL Advanced Information Technology was established on October 15th, 1999 and commenced business operations early in 2000. ESL was previously known as the "Security and Defense" business division of one of the leading Austrian Telecom System Suppliers.
The main objectives of ESL are the developement and integration of command-, control- and communication systems for both strategic and tactical applications, meteorological systems and security/safety-applications in civil and military area.
The staff and management of ESL have been involved in the area of telecommunication and security operations since 1988. Therefore with this experience and dedication, ESL is a reliable partner in this highly advanced and sensitive area of information and security technology. |

ESL has implemented a quality management system (QM) which complies with ISO 9001:2000. The system ensures that all procedures and products are strictly and evidently performed in accordance to the terms of agreements and specifications outline in ISO 9001. The head of QM is responsible to all tasks listed below:
- Quality-System management.
- Staff training and further education.
- Preparation of reports and ratings of the QM systems effectiveness (management reviews).
- Supervising of procedures and orientation of operations ensuring compliance with the company's QA-specifications.
- Initiation of corrective and preventive measures.
- Amendments to the QA management system in order to adhere to changes in relevant documentation and regulations regulations and to archieve a continous development.
- Organising of internal and external audits.
